Sara I. Sanad is an experienced translator with over a decade of expertise in the field. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Ain Shams University and a professional diploma in Legal and United Nations translation from the American University in Cairo. Additionally, she has earned the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE C1). 

Since 2016, Sanad has worked as a News Editor and Translator for the Middle East News Agency and is a member of the Egyptian Syndicate of Journalists. 

Proficient in various Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools such as Trados, Phrase, and Wordfast, Sanad ensures high levels of accuracy and efficiency in her work. Alongside translation, she offers additional language services, including translation revision, editing, and proofreading. 

She has contributed to several international projects, including the first online Arabic translation of the Lexsitus Commentary on the Law of the International Criminal Court (CLICC).

Gamal Abdelazim is a meticulous and hard-working proofreader with an eagle eye for detail. Known for his patience and easy-going nature, he has been working professionally since 2003. A graduate of the Faculty of Arts, Department of Arabic Language at Cairo University in 1999, he started his career editing complex historical manuscripts from 2003 to 2019, which underscores his exceptional skills, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively. He has also worked as a freelance proofreader on a wide range of projects across various fields and countries. 

Since 2017, Abdelazim has been with the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO), where his dedication to precision and clarity continues to shine.

Among his notable achievements is proofreading the Arabic translation of the Lexsitus Commentary on the Law of the International Criminal Court (CLICC).

Maisa M. Fathi is a skilled and versatile translator, proofreader, and transcreator with over 12 years of experience translating documents between English and Arabic. She holds a B.A. in Languages and Simultaneous Interpretation from Al-Azhar University, awarded in 2011. Fathi has worked with prestigious organizations like the ICRC in Egypt, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

She served as a full-time Content Officer for an Omani translation agency, participating in UNICEF projects and producing reports for Vale and Asyad Group. Proficient in CAT tools like Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, and Smartling, Fathi brings a meticulous and adaptable approach to our team.

She contributed to the translation of several international projects, including the Lexsitus Commentary on the Law of the International Criminal Court (CLICC).

Hagar Mohamed Khalil is an accomplished translator with over five years of experience. She graduated with honors from Ain Shams University with a BA in Translation and Interpretation, ranking 3rd in her class. She holds a postgraduate diploma specializing in interpretation and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree.

Her portfolio includes collaborations with the United Nations Environment Programme, the World Bank’s Greater Cairo Air Pollution Management and Climate Change Project, SAP, and Microsoft.

Proficient in CAT tools like Trados, Phrase, and MemoQ, Khalil brings both technical expertise and leadership to her roles. In addition to her translation work, she has taught English pronunciation and negotiation skills, excelling in managing teams and complex projects. Khalil has worked on international projects, including the translation of the Lexsitus Commentary on the Law of the International Criminal Court (CLICC).

Asmaa Raafat is a translator with over nine years of professional experience specializing in legal and financial translation. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Alsun, Ain Shams University.

Raafat has worked on notable projects, including the Commentary on the First Geneva Convention, where she was involved in translation, first-tier reviewing, and compiling the legal glossary. Her experience includes collaborations with prestigious entities such as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the International Bank, Roland Berger, and Arthur D. Little, as well as various Egyptian government entities. 

Proficient in tools like Trados, Smartling, Phrase, and MemoQ, Raafat continues to deliver high-quality translations that meet the demands of our team. 

She also partially contributed to the translation of the Lexsitus Commentary on the Law of the International Criminal Court (CLICC).

Mohamed Soliman is a seasoned translator and interpreter with over 14 years of experience, specializing in healthcare, legal, and financial sectors. He has provided both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting for high-profile clients, including GIZ, COSPE, the European Union Election Observation Mission, and ministries across the Gulf region. With advanced training in communication and management from AUC, Soliman excels in delivering precise and effective interpretation in complex, high-stakes environments.

His expertise spans international events and negotiations, working with entities like Walgreens Alliance Boots, the Digital Government Authority in Saudi Arabia, and Medcare Clinics. Fluent in Arabic and English, Soliman's ability to adapt to diverse settings ensures smooth communication and success across various sectors.

In addition to interpreting, Soliman is proficient in CAT tools, including Phrase, Trados, and MemoQ.

Engy Bendary is a seasoned translator with over 15 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and a post-graduate diploma in Interpretation specializing in United Nations translation. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree at Strasbourg University. 

Throughout her career, Bendary has worked on projects for leading technology companies, including Google, Meta, and Microsoft. She has also collaborated with international organizations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), contributing to reports on sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the UAE government. 

Proficient in various Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, including Trados, Smartling, Phrase, and MemoQ, Bendary ensures accuracy in her work. Her adaptability enables her to excel in complex translation projects across diverse sectors. 

Yasmine Osama is a skilled translator and interpreter with a Bachelor’s degree in Written and Simultaneous Translation from Ain Shams University, Cairo. Currently working with the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) in Cairo, she has previously translated legal, economic, political and UN documents at Marzouk for Legal and Specialized Translation and EgyTranscript.

Osama has extensive experience in managing translation projects in several legal, economic, developmental and political fields. She has provided simultaneous interpretation at various international events, including Broadband Africa and the UN Conference against Corruption. She is proficient in various Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, including Trados, Smartling and Phrase.

 With excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills, she made s significant contribution to the Arabic translation of the Lexsitus Commentary on the Law of the International Criminal Court (CLICC).

Mai Tayel is a highly skilled interpreter with a solid academic background, holding a Bachelor's degree in Languages and Simultaneous Interpretation with honors, as well as a diploma in Legal Translation and United Nations Translation. Since transitioning to interpreting in 2012, she has developed extensive expertise in both on-site and remote interpreting. 

Recently, Tayel joined our team to provide interpreting support, further expanding her impressive portfolio. She has previously worked with renowned clients such as the Egyptian Police Academy, Kuwait National Television, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the World Bank’s Regional Office in Kuwait. Her expertise in remote interpreting has played a pivotal role in facilitating seamless communication for international projects. Tayel’s ability to handle diverse and complex topics with precision makes her a standout interpreter in the field. In addition, she is proficient in using CAT Tools such as Phrase and Trados.
